Independent Insurance Agents & Brokers of Spokane (IIABS) started in 1948 as a voluntary, non-profit trade association organized for the benefit of Independent Insurance Agents and Brokers in the Greater Spokane area. 

Mission Statement :  The mission of the Independent Insurance Agents and Brokers of Spokane is the promotion of the Independent Insurance Agency System, by assisting in the education and training of its members, while creating and maintaining professionalism and ethical standards.
